Zaden Turns 2!

We had a small party for Zaden with family. Zaden loved when we sang Happy Birthday to him. Uncle Kyle put food on his tummy to see if the birds would come eat off of him and Zaden wanted to try too.

Zaden's Jam Session

Zaden LOVES guitars. For his second birthday, we got him a ukulele. He loves playing and singing at the same time. He also has to wear his Wild West Hat when he plays.

Nana and Zaden

Nana came over to play with Zaden and they had so much fun playing. They wore their goggles and Zaden tried on his new shirt from Auntie Hope. Lookin good Zaden. Zaden was also sick with an ear infection and Nana came to visit and cheer him up. Zaden enjoyed taking pictures with Walley (monkey) and baby too.

Valentines Day Party

Play Date with Jaeda!

Zaden and Jaeda have so much fun playing together. They enjoyed playing in the house in the backyard.

Praying with Daddy

We have always prayed with Zaden before bed, naps, and meals. He's really getting the hang of it. He asks us to pray with him and says "hand" to hold hands.

Zaden's Kettlebell workout

Zaden is very into Daddy's Kettlebells. He gave it a good try, but ended up smashing his fingers in the end. Too heavy!

Zaden gets his cast off!

Yeah! We made it through 6 long weeks of having a cast on Zaden! The cast stank so bad by the last week! The Dr. took a big saw/ vacuum to remove the cast. Zaden loved the saw/ vacuum. He said "Wow" over and over again! His arm was all shriveled and skinny. The skin was peeling off. Now that it has been a few days, his arm is pretty much back to normal.

Lets go for a swim!

I have now started to swim. Its great exercise and it feels so good to float in the water. I got all my old swim goggles and caps out. Zaden thought that he would try them on.

Zoo day!

Zaden love to go to the zoo. I think it is one of his new favorite places to go. He loves the elephants, monkeys, and lions. He makes all the animal noises. We went with some friends and he had a blast.

Hiking...

We went for a "hike" last Sunday at Elwood Bluffs. Zaden had so much fun running around finding butterflies, sticks, bugs, and watching the birds. It was a beautiful day for a walk.
