Hello!

As some of you may know, I have been really sick with this pregnancy. So, I haven't been able to up date my blog in a long time. So, a lot has happened since I have been gone. This past week has been one of the most challenging weeks of my life. Zaden was in the ER three times! First for breathing difficulty, then for a fever over 104 that wouldn't break, and then for the cherry on the top, he broke his wrist! Now he has a nice big cast on! And through all this, I got sick with a virus and have started to vomit again from all the stress and lack of sleep. God is really testing me right now. This parenting thing is difficult sometimes! I am now about 17 weeks pregnant. Showing of course. Popped so much sooner with the second pregnancy. Here are some pics in no particular order. Okay... I have to post pictures later. My camera battery died.

Been a while...

So as many of you know, I am pregnant! Yes, I am trying to be excited but I am really sick. My hyperemesis is back! I really thought that this pregnancy would be different. But the Lord is testing my faith everyday. So here is a picture of Zaden in his wagon.

Birthday Weekend!

This past weekend, Zaden stayed at Nana and Papa's house the whole weekend. Frankie and I decided to vacation in lovely Santa Barbara! ha ha ha. It was my birthday on Sunday and we had the whole weekend to celebrate it without a kid! What a huge treat. On Saturday we went to breakfast at Diangalos and then got pedicures and manicures and then rented beach cruisers and cruised all around downtown SB. Then we went to dinner at Montecito Cafe. After dinner we went to McConnell's Ice Cream! And just as I was about to cross the street, I felt this splash of cold water between my feet and up my legs. I had been hit with a water balloon! I didn't even see it coming! It landed right between my feet and sprayed my legs. I was wearing a dress and heals. I would have been mad if it would have hit me, but I must say, it was a pretty smooth water balloon job! I didn't even see it coming. It was actually kinda funny. Darn kids!

Basket Case

I caught Zaden trying to get inside this little basket. He got stuck and needed my help.

Zaden's first boo boo

We were outside in the driveway waiting for our friends to come over and play, when Zaden got his first boo boo. He was so excited about their arrival that he was running up and down the driveway, and crash, he fell and skinned his knee. His poor knee was all red and even had blood, but all he said while touching his knee was "Oooh". What a trooper! The band-aid was even more exciting!

We went for a walk on the beach on Sunday. We brought the soccer ball with us. We are so blessed to live in beautiful Santa Barbara!

Fun at the Zoo

We went to the Zoo the other day! So much fun. It is getting to be more fun now that Zaden can walk and run. He loves the animals. His favorites are the Lions, which he calls "Kitty" in a high voice. He also likes the elephants and the Gorillas.

Night Moves... Isa Moves...

Well, I did my first Night Moves here in Santa Barbara. It was great except the fact that I couldn't breath due to my asthma! But, I did finish in a good time! 3.2 miles in 25 minutes! That's 7.8 minutes per mile! Yeah! I am getting closer and closer to my goal.

Go Dada, Go!

Zaden loves it when Dada give him rides in the laundry basket! But this time it was Dada's turn. Zaden tried to push him, but Dada is just too big. Nice helmet!~

Hair days...

Got to love the hair! When Zaden wakes from a slumber... he always has beautiful hair!

Date Night

Frankie and I got to go on a much needed date! We ate at Shoreline beach cafe and sat in the sand! There were lots of dolphins, the weather was perfect! I enjoyed a nice cocktail and fish tacos!

Chicken poxs in the heat!

Zaden had the Chicken Pox during our heat spell. It was pretty miserable. We spent a lot of time in the pool and Zaden spent a lot of time naked! Thanks goodness the Chicken pox are now over!~

Hair Cut

Finally Zaden got a hair cut! He needed one really bad. His hair grows so fast. I had Nana come over and cut Zaden's hair. She did a great job keeping him entertained while cutting his hair. The kitchen floor was a disaster after the hair cut.

Father's Day

Zaden... still looks half-way asleep. Open your eyes buddy! We had a great father's day! Zaden made a picture for Dada and Papa. We had lunch with Nana and Papa. Great day! But Mother's day is better.... ha ha ha.

We had a blast in Palm Desert! Zaden loved going to the pool every day. Everyday we woke up and got to see our friends first thing in the morning! We just played all day! The weather was great! Frankie had to leave on Wednesday, which was really hard. But our friends were there for Zaden and I. They really helped out a lot. I feel so blessed to have such a amazing group of friends. I feel even more bonded with my wonderful friends.
